Jenna Walter
Jenna discovered yoga at the age of 13 while pursuing her athletic career. After a career-ending knee injury in 2017, she deepened her yoga practice, finding significant healing and mindfulness. Inspired by her transformative experience, Jenna earned her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification from Cloud Nine Yoga Schools located in Kauai, Hawaii, in 2020.
Jenna recently graduated from Miami University of Ohio with degrees in Interactive Media and Entrepreneurship. During her time there, she began her teaching journey, leading vinyasa yoga classes at the university’s Recreational Center and private events for greek life organizations and sports teams, for two years, with a focus on slow flow, power flow, and yoga pilates. Additionally, she completed her Floor Pilates certification while studying at Miami.
Jenna moved to Tampa shortly after Graduation in 2022 and began teaching studio classes, and quickly fell in love with the Tampa Bay yoga community. Jenna is dedicated to fostering joy through creative movement, promoting self-compassion, and being a life long learner of yoga. Her classes provide students with fluid, creative flows that spark curiosity and play. She is looking forward to creating connections and sharing her passions at Cocoon.
