Kelly Hoffman

Meet Kelly, a 200hr. RYT; and Kripalu certified Yoga Dance teacher.

Having spent years immersed in the world of dance and theatre, Kelly discovered yoga over

thirty years ago as a practice that not only nurtured her physical well-being but also provided a

sanctuary for her spirit.

In her pursuit of understanding yoga beyond its physical postures, Kelly encountered a profound

yet simple teaching from one of her mentors, Mark Whitwell: "do your yoga every day”. This

mantra emphasized the personal nature of one's yoga practice, highlighting that the journey

towards balance and self-discovery is unique to each individual. Just as the trees sway

effortlessly and the bees hum in harmony with nature, Kelly realized that there is nothing

external to seek, for within each of us lies the infinite power of the cosmos, perfectly expressed

as is.

Kelly’s approach to teaching yoga is rooted in the wisdom of the ancient sutras and the

teachings of Krishnamacharya. Her Heart of Yoga class creates a space where we focus our

attention on the breath so that the fluctuations of the mind naturally subside, paving the way

for a state of inner calmness. In this place, the central nervous system operates at its peak,

facilitating a profound connection between body, mind, and spirit. With each breath, she

invites her students to journey inward, tapping into the divine intelligence that guides us all

toward the heart of Yoga.
